    • May 11th

      Our council provided free meals to mothers in our community, and not so free meals to everyone else. 

      Big thanks to all the guys who setup, helped cook, clean, and serve for this event!
    • May 2nd

      Theology On Tap made its triumphant comeback! After hangups due to weather, we finally had our first ToT event of 2025. Deacon Bob & Fr. Fisher gave a talk about the Catholic Charismatic Revival movement. 

      Thanks per usual to all who helped with setup, and those who attended!
    • We did have our St. Patrick's Day event, AND an exemplification, but unfortunately I got a new phone and the photos maaaay or may not be lost forever. A

    • November 15th

      We held our last T.O.T. event for the year. Our newly appointed deacon gave a presentation on the life of Saint Pope Pius X, and the familial connection they shared. 

      As per usual, big thanks for everyone who came out!

      ​
      An installation of new district positions was held at St. Anne's Basilica in Scranton, PA.

      Amongst others, a big congrats to our very own Jason Sickler, and John Klippel!

    • October 12th

      We finally did it! We held our OctoberFest event without any outside forces preventing us from doing so! Thanks to all who came out, and the council members we had working the event.

      We held our ​September Theology on Tap event. Fr. Alex Roche, the ​Director Of ​Vocations for the Diocese of Scranton came ​out and spoke about Jonah And The Whale.

      As always, big thanks to everyone who ​joined us!


    • August 13th


      We had our yearly ASAP "Baby Shower" event before our business meeting. The women from OPTIONS in Scranton, and soon to be Honesdale, came out and spoke to us about the new-news in with their organization.

    • June 23rd 

      The council provided food and cooked for the parish's annual picnic. Thanks to all who came out and braved the heatwave to eat burgers and hotdogs with us!

    • June ~

      A handful of our council's 4th degree members participated in the Jefferson Township Parade event. Thanks to the guys who came out and supported our community's event!
    • June 2nd

      The council held our second Corpus Christi eucharistic procession. This year we were able to provide color corps members, and we also had our own mobile PA system. 

      Giant thanks to all who came out and to all who helped with the event! We know next year's will be even better!

    • April 7th

      The council held an exemplification for four new members! 

      We are very happy to welcome aboard these men.

    • March 23rd

      We hosted an Easter egg hunt for the parish this morning. Light refreshments (coffee, donuts, bagels and candy, of course) were also available to attending families.

      Thank you to brother Klippel for taking on the responsibility of ordering (and packing) new eggs for the council.

      We held our annual St. Patrick's dinner event, and it went great! 

      Giant thanks to all who helped with the event. Especially Bill Bell, who lead the organization, and Ralph Denise, who as always was the head chef.
    • March 8th

      Fr. Justin came out and spoke to us about the history of the Carmelite order. He also shared with us information about the cloistered nuns who recently moved to our area, and the monastary that they are building.

    • January 29th


      Most Rev Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, Bishop of Sunyani Diocese, Ghana, celebrated Mass at St Thomas More on Monday.  This is the home diocese of Father Bosomafi-our Pastor and Council Chaplain. Many of our council members helped with spreading awareness of this event in our parish, along with providing desserts and refreshments after the Mass.

      The council welcomed into the order our newest member, Paul Higgins!

    • December 12th

      The council held its annual Christmas dinner party. 
      Thank you to everyone who attended. We hope to see you all again at next year's!

    • December 10th

      The council hosted a Kid's Christmas party for the St. Thomas More parish community. 

      There were stations for arts and crafts, cookie making, present wrapping, and someone who looked suspiciously like Bill Wagner was dressed up as good ole' Saint Nicholas!

    • December 5th

      The council held the 2023 Light Up For Christ event.

      We were very happy to see such a big turnout, despite below freezing temperatures!

    • November 9th

      The council held an exemplification for two new Knights in two different councils.

      We are very happy to welcome Andrew Lopatofsky to council 7403!

    • First Week Of November

      The council handed out free children's coats to families in Lake Ariel. Over 175 coats were givern out, including 30 to the Wayne County Children's Christmas Bureau.

      A big thank you to Daniel Baron, John Klippel, Bill Wagner, Rob Trombley and Ralph Denise for their help with the distributions.
    • September 16th

      The Annual Council Golf Tournament took place at the Honesdale Golf Club. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the day with us!

      At our September business meeting, we had our new officers officially installed. Grand Knight Daniel Baron also accepted the Star Council award on behalf of the council.

    • August 8th

      The council held our second benefit for Options Women's Center, located in Scranton, PA. 

      Their representatives were once again very friendly and knowledgable before, during, and after their presentation.

      We are very thankful for all the wonderful work they do, and hope to see them again next year!

    • June 24th

      The council assisted with the parish's annual picnic to commemorate the feast day of St. Thomas More.

    • June 11th

      Our council held a eucharistic procession at St. Thomas More parish. We would like to thank everyone who helped to make it possible! Also, a big thank you to all the parishoners who walked along with us in the not so pleasant sunshine and heat!
    • May 21st

      An exemplification was held for two new council members. We are very happy to welcome aboard John Kippel and Jairo Sweeney! Congratulations!
    • May 6th - 7th

      The annual State Covention was held, and our representatives were current and former council Grand Knights Daniel Baron and John Piotrowski.

      State officers were elected, and buisiness as well as programs - such as budgets, incentivizations, and scholarship - were discussed and conducted.

      Worship service was held as well.
    • April 28th

      The council hosted a Theology On Tap session. Pizza, drinks, and desserts were served. Father Bosomafi gave a speech about his formative years, and the events that led to him entering the priesthood.

      Thank you to all who attended, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
    • April 11th

      The council distributed awards to members who have shown outstanding service to the council and our community!

    • March 18th

      The council hosted it's first Saint Patrick's Dinner & Dance since that thing happened in 2020. It was absolutely wonderful being able to spend so much time with fellow Brother Knights and members of our parish community. 

    • February 12th

      The council helped with providing and serving food for the Faith Formation Luncheon.

    • 2023

    • December 22nd

      Fr. Bosomafi and our chancellor Bill Wagner spent Thursday morning visiting seniors at Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home.

    • December 13th

      Ed Sparkoski was named as our council's Knight Of The Year.

      Thank you so much for all the hard work and time you dedicate to the Church, the community, and our council.

      The council held its annual Christmas at Capri's restraunt. 

      A social hour was held before the meal, and a Catholic trivia game was had afterwards. 

      Thank you all for a great year! May the Lord bless us with many more!

    • November 29th

      The council welcomed in members Randy Rasure, Mark J Durdach, Robert Rosko, as well as transferees Gregory DeRoner and Mark E Durdach.

      Congratulations to all!

    • Last Week Of November

      Council members assisted with setting up the platform for St Thomas More's outdoor nativity display.

    • November 26th

      The council distributed coats we gathered for the Coats For Kids charity drive. At least 200 coats were made available to the  community!

    • First Week Of November

      The winner (a local 7th grader) of our "Celebrate Life" banner contest had his art professionally printed and hung in front of St. Thomas More. 

      Thank you to all participants!

    • October 22-23

      Our council met with parishoners  before and after every mass the fourth weekend in October. A represenative also gave a small speech after mass, quickly outlining what the Knights are, and what we do for our community.

    • October 14th

      A chili cookoff and raffle was held at St Thomas More.

      Many members of the council helped with setup, organization, and cleanup of the event

    • October 11

      Awards were given out to council members during the business meeting. Congrats to all!

    • September 17

      The Annual Council Golf Tournament was held with great success! Thank you to all who came out and enjoyed quality time together on the green! 

    • August 26 – September 4

      Members staffed a booth at the Greene Dreher Sterling Community Fair. Over 1,425 football tickets were sold, and many, many donations were received from our wonderful community!

    • August 9th

      Our parish knights and their families donated over $1600 in money and gifts to Options Women's Center. A pro-life pregnancy resource organization. They counsel women throughout and after their pregnancy to avoid termination.

    • July 24

      A ceremony was held for the installation of officers for the 2022-2023 Fraternal Year. 
       

    • July 18

      Our Knights of Columbus council inducted two new members, Bob Morrone and Eric Pass. 
      Congratulations to them!
